100th Anniversary Celebration Dinner

Join us as we celebrate 100 Years of empowering women and girls through education and advocacy in the Lubbock Community.
Throughout the decades, the Betty Anderson Branch of AAUW has awarded thousands of dollars in educational scholarships to students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, including those returning to school after a break in their pursuit of a college degree.
We’ve supported projects such as child care centers, early childhood education, and a juvenile detention center that separated minors from adults.
Our initiatives have encouraged girls to explore science, math, and engineering, and introduced young girls and their mothers to the possibilities of a college education.
We also support our parent organization’s programs that help women and girls not only in our community but also nationally and internationally.
AAUW provides resources and tools for success, including fellowships and grants, career resources, and legal advocacy.
